Back to school is officially in session!
And that usually means getting out the door on time Monday through Friday.
This can sometimes create a challenge.
Especially simplifying breakfast meals.
My daughter has these cravings for bananas at times that some times I over estimate my banana purchase. And what results are ripe bananas in my kitchen.
I'm a believer to never get rid of good food.
My daughter might look at these bananas and think 'yucky' with all it's spots.
I, on the other hand, find it a great opportunity.
Today I'm sharing my Easy & Simple Oatmeal Breakfast!
Before I'd figure out that I can create my own oatmeal from scratch. I was one to just purchase the prepackaged oatmeal. Even though these are great convenience on the go. Most of them contain artificial flavoring. Which is something I try to limit as much as I can.
With my Oatmeal Recipe, you can cut down cost and waste.
(Prices May Vary on Location)
1. Mash ripe Banana in a separate bowl
2. In your main bowl add your desired amount of Oatmeal and milk.
3. Heat it up in a Microwave it for one minute (or longer)
4. Mix in Mash banana
5. This is optional but you can add Cinnamon Powder and Honey to taste.
The great thing about this recipe is that you can customize it to your liking!
You can add strawberries or walnuts. The possibilities are endless!
What's your favorite toppings for oatmeal? Comment down and share any other breakfast recipes!
I will be posting an easy & quick after school snack later this week so stay tune for that :)
